We are supplying manure to some of our farm neighbours. Here I am
driving our little ATV delivering manure and getting a lot of farm
produce in return.
This is Mei-Niui. One of the girls in our guard force. She is very shy
and trusts only me.
Here I am, preparing a light lunch for my dear friends Avon from Florida
and Selina from Johngli.
Avon is the orignal owner of Mei-Mei and
Selina got a beautiful mare named Cleopatra.
During daytime our guardforce has time-off and usually relaxes in the
sunshine.
Tin-Tin and and our boy Lester have developed a very good relationship
and often spend time together.
I am always trying to teach the horses and the dogs new tricks. Here I
am trying to teach them how to eat vegetables. Easy with some of them,
but some just refuse.
A view of the stable in April 2011. I have had a lot of trees planted
and unfortunately, some did not make it, but the others are growing
strong.
Another view of the trees and the stable.
We had a well drilled and found good and healthy water at about 30
meters down. We just had the well connected to our water supply system
and everything is working well.
I guess we have the only stable in Taiwan where Bose speakers are
playing good, traditional country music to the horses and the staff.
My boy Curious is allowed to go in and out of his box when he wants to.
He often gets irritated with the flies and runs back to his box.
This is our shy girl Mei-Niui again. She is a bit unsecure and
distrustful, but we see improvement.
This is Biscuit. A big dog with a very solid personality. He is
confident and I think he will be challenging Gustav, our Alpha male, for
the leader position when he gets older.
This is Gustav. Currently the leader of the Pack. He is the oldest male
and so far the undisputed leader. He is a pure Border Collie and loves
to chase frisbie.
